Pente

Missy made it home safely!! Thank you for all of your prayers! Today was a very full day! All but one of my readers showed up, so I am exhausted...but in a good way! That is pretty much how it will be from now on, because almost all of my time slots have been filled. I got to meet the first time with 2 of Missy's readers today: Daniel and Tassia. I have been around Daniel everyday, though, because he works at the School of the Bible. He is a lot of fun, and really sweet. Well, Adriana was making fun of me because I spelled her husband's name wrong on my last post. It should have been Eneias. I think. She laughed about that a lot. Yesterday, Kathy went to the grocery store and came back with lots of surprises! She got me some soy milk and frozen veggie dinners! Now I have no reason to ever return to America-haha. I had looked for those things, but as you might remember, I don't know Portuguese. However, I have been given a crash course by some of the people who work at the School of the Bible, so it's possible that I will be fluent by the time I return. Doubtful, but possible. Kathy also showed us a new game called Pente. Basically, I am really good at it. I want everyone to know that I have beat Jarrod and William EVERYtime we have played. That's right. Every single time.

Yes, I always look this sweaty and shiny in Brazil...

I'd like everyone to know that almost immediately after this post, William beat Kensey at Pente.

I haven't won yet. It's good to give Kensey little ego boosts every once in a while, you know.
